Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define all commercial, financial, and payment-related rules that apply when:

  • Hosts list accommodations

  • Travelers make reservations

  • The Platform processes bookings and payments

All general usage rules (account creation, content, communication, behavior) are covered separately in our Terms and Conditions.


Pricing and Displayed Amounts

All accommodation prices are determined by the Host, not by the Platform.

Displayed prices may include:

  • Nightly or per-stay rate

  • Cleaning fees or additional charges set by the Host

  • Local or tourism taxes

  • Platform service fees (if applicable)

All amounts must be shown clearly before a Traveler completes a reservation.


Payment Terms

All Traveler payments are processed securely through the Platform.

Travelers agree to:

  • Provide valid payment information

  • Pay the total amount at the time of booking

  • Authorize the Platform to charge their payment method

Hosts agree to:

  • Receive payouts only through the Platform

  • Accept the payout schedule provided

  • Pay applicable platform fees or commissions


Platform Service Fees

The Platform may charge service fees to:

  • Travelers (booking fees)

  • Hosts (commissions deducted from payouts)

These fees:

  • Are displayed during the booking process

  • May vary by listing, country, or season

  • Are generally non-refundable, unless required by law


Commission for Hosts

A commission rate may be applied to every confirmed reservation.
This commission is automatically deducted from the Host’s payout.

The Platform may update commission rates with prior notice to Hosts.


Payouts to Hosts

Host payouts are issued after the traveler’s check-in date, unless stated otherwise.

Payouts depend on:

  • Successful Traveler payment

  • Deduction of all applicable fees

  • Host compliance with platform rules

If check-in cannot happen due to Host responsibility, payment may be withheld.


Cancellation Policy

Each Host must choose a cancellation policy, for example:

  • Flexible – Full refund before check-in

  • Moderate – Partial refund

  • Strict – No refund

The selected policy is displayed clearly before payment.

Cancellations may impact:

  • The refund given to the Traveler

  • The payout the Host receives

  • Any applicable commissions


Refund Conditions

Refund eligibility is based on:

  • The Host’s chosen cancellation policy

  • The timing of the Traveler’s cancellation

  • Local laws and regulations

  • Exceptional situations (safety concerns, fraud, disputes)

Refunds may be:

  • Full

  • Partial

  • Not applicable

Platform service fees may remain non-refundable.


No-Show Policy

If a Traveler does not arrive for their stay (“no-show”):

  • The booking is considered used

  • The Host may receive a payout depending on the cancellation rules

  • The Traveler may not be entitled to a refund


Reservation Modifications

Changes such as new dates, guest count, or stay duration require:

  • Host approval

  • Recalculation of pricing

  • Additional payment or partial refund if needed

Modification fees may apply.


Damage Charges

If a Host reports property damage:

  • The Platform may charge the Traveler

  • Evidence (photos, documents) must be provided

  • The Platform may mediate and determine a fair compensation amount

If the Traveler refuses to pay, the account may be restricted.


Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

In case of a chargeback request:

  • The Platform may provide evidence to the payment provider

  • Host payouts may be delayed or reversed during review

  • If the Traveler’s claim is valid, the Host may be held responsible

Repeated chargebacks may result in suspension.


Taxes and Legal Responsibilities

Hosts are fully responsible for complying with all local tax requirements, including:

  • VAT or GST

  • Tourist taxes

  • Rental income tax

  • Permit or licensing requirements

The Platform may collect and remit certain taxes only where required by law.


Invoicing

The Platform may:

  • Issue receipts to Travelers

  • Issue commission invoices to Hosts

Hosts must provide their own accommodation invoices to Travelers if required by local regulations.


Promotions and Discounts

Discounts may be offered by:

  • Hosts

  • The Platform (vouchers, promotional codes, referral rewards)

Promotions may not be used to avoid platform fees.


Commercial Liability

The Platform is not responsible for:

  • Prices set by Hosts

  • Traveler or Host behavior

  • Damages, theft, accidents, or incidents occurring during the stay

  • Incorrect or misleading information provided by Hosts

  • Hosts’ obligations to meet local legal requirements

The Platform’s financial liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.


Modifications to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The Platform may update these Terms of Sale at any time.
All changes will be published on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform means acceptance of the updated terms.
